  • Puppy Kindergarten & S.T.A.R Puppy

    Puppy Kindergarten offers new puppy owners an opportunity to socialize their puppies to “friendly strangers” (instructors, other owners, and other puppies) and to build the puppy’s confidence in various situations. Puppy Kindergarten will instruct students how to begin teaching the basic commands of dog obedience to their puppies in a safe, structured environment.

     

     

    PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

    Appropriate for puppies up to 20 weeks old at the start of class.

    • Sit
    • Down
    • Loose lead walking
    • Handling & grooming exercises
    • Fun recalls
    • Confidence building exercises

     

    Prerequisites: Puppies 10-20 weeks old at beginning of class (the younger, the better!) Pup does not have to have all vaccines (consult with your Vet).
     

     

    S.T.A.R. PUPPY (for puppies up to 20 weeks old at the start of class)

    S.T.A.R. Puppy incorporates the requirements for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program along with the regular Puppy Kindergarten curriculum . Puppies will have the option at the end of class to test and apply for a S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate from AKC.
