March 13 – 29 – Re: Capital Dog Training Club Classes and Clubhouse
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and for the safety of our members, students, and the community, CDTC has made the difficult decision to suspend classes, groups, test, and events effective Friday, March 13.
This closure will remain in effect through March 29 at which time we will reevaluate.
Classes will be extended/resumed where they left off when we return to normal operations unless otherwise notified.
The building will still be accessible to key-holders; please use best hygiene practices while in and around the facility.
Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Information about the upcoming Agility trial is pending. We will announce here when a decision is reached.
Classes run 6 or 8 weeks beginning on the date given, unless otherwise indicated.
Inclement Weather Policy
Capital follows Montgomery County closings. During the school year, on regularly scheduled school days, we follow Montgomery County schools closing decisions.
On non-school days, we follow Montgomery County Community Use of Public Facilities closing decisions.
Capital follows the Montgomery County Community Use of Public Facilities policy on emergency closings. This means when Montgomery County announces that schools and/or community use public facilities (CUPF) are closed, Capital is closed.
To further clarify with regard to our run-thrus, if Montgomery County announces that schools/community use public facilities (CUPF) are closed, delaying opening, or closing early, Capital’s run-thrus will be canceled that day.
You can also listen to or access WTOP online for the most current information on closings and delayed/early closings.
