Freestyle

Available Classes
Freestyle introduces handlers to this new canine sport in which handler and dog move as a team through required and optional choreographed movements to music specially chosen to match the dog’s rhythm. This is a great class for the older dog that may be retired from more physically demanding sports, young dogs in training for obedience or agility competition, and for the well-trained pet whose owner wishes to have another venue. Freestyle at CDTC is taught following the guidelines of the Canine Freestyle Federation.
This is an ongoing class from beginner through advanced. By the time a dog is working at the advanced level, most will have a choreographed routine and be preparing for competition or demonstration.
